The Wolf Moon

This past Wednesday January 19, 2022 was a beautiful full moon known as the Wolf Moon. The name for the January moon stems from how packs of wolves were heard howling outside villages amid the cold and deep snows of winter. I’ve been trying for months to get a good shot of a full moon but it has eluded me until now! I took this shot in manual mode with my Canon 5D Mark IV and a Sigma 150-600mm lens. The settings were as follows: Aperture f/8, ISO 640, 1/500.
