Welcome to my website!

Hi there - thank you for reading this - I am so excited that today I finally launched my website after a year of false starts - just couldn’t find the time! Well, after all I do have a day job of which I’m very proud … but this adds a brand new feeling of satisfaction. I hope that you’ll continue to check in - I have A LOT of things I’d like to share and of course I plan to avoid the deadly sins of discussing politics, etc.… well, you know … the things we say we won’t discuss at Thanksgiving.

2020 has been a terrible year so far for reasons outside of … you know - the Pandemic!!!

I was hiking back in early March (which I love to do in the winter) wearing ice spikes on a nearby mountain top when I slid off a patch of ice and fell off a cliff about 15’ and landed against a tree! Totally destroyed my 200mm Canon prime lens and broke three ribs (I think I was more upset about breaking the lens)! My wife brought me to the emergency room at the Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh (I’m a former Trustee of the hospital), Subsequently, I contracted the COVID virus. Ended up back in the hospital a few weeks later for three days and then in isolation (14 days) recovering from double COVID pneumonia (14 weeks).

Anyway, I’m back out and about taking photos, writing music and generally just enjoying being alive! Hope you and your loved ones are staying safe! Best Regards,
